RIAC - Romania Information At Cleaford - is a free service provided by staff with long experience of conducting mission and charity work in Romania from a base in UK.

The aim is to provide a rapid, cheap medium for the exchange of information of interest to charities and missions working in Romania.

RIAC uses a series of web pages (which can be seen here) to post information and to provide an extensive Directory of Groups working in Romania. There are active hyperlinks to the listed Groups, which facilitates contact between those with common interests.

RIAC includes a free opt-in email service, which is used to bring new information to the notice of subscribers with the minimum of delay, and also to serve as a ‘noticeboard’ when groups wish to offer surplus items to others, or are looking for information on a particular topic.

RIAC depends on input from the ‘membership’, and encourages those returning from visits to Romania to report changes of which they become aware, so that they may be circulated as soon as possible. There are several subscribers who are resident in Romania, and who have generously provided information in response to questions from others.
